China to Build Tallest Building in 90 Days?!

So, China’s one-upping everyone in the game of who’s got the biggest building. I’m going to play a game with this one, and in order to win, you have to figure out what that game is.

Using a prefabricated modular technology, the company Broad Sustainable Building will be able to erect what they’re calling Sky City in about ninety days. With 220 floors and 2,749 feet tall, that’s at a rate of five floors per day.
Here’s a time-lapse of a hotel’s construction utilizing this technique, where BSB was able to raise a 30-story hotel in 15 days: Click here
Supposedly, an earthquake 9.0 and under may make Sky City quiver, but the building will hold firm. With over 220,000 tons of steel through the use of thermal insulation, Sky City will be hardened to the elements.
31,400 people of both “high and low income communities” will be able to live there. Something tells me the lower income people will get the shaft. The remainder of the building will be used for offices, schools, hospitals, shops and restaurants. Over 104 elevators will transport
Work on the base is to go on as scheduled by the end of the month. No word if they had to cut back foliage to make the building look bigger.
BSB has a bone to pick with the media, as outlets in China have reported that it will actually take 210 days to finish. There’s a vast difference between 90 and 210 days. The company stands hard that they will make their 90-day prediction, barring any cock-ups.

PayPal Credits and Debits a Man with $92 Quadrillion

Chris Reynolds, a 56-year-old resident of the small town of Media, Pa. Has been on a roller-coaster ride of sudden ultra-wealthy and spectacular losses — all in the space of a day.
Reynolds, a PayPal customer who uses the service to buy and sell items on eBay, particularly vintage car parts, saw a surprising figure in his monthly statement, delivered Friday. That figure? $92,233,720,368,547,800, or about $92 quadrillion.
"At first I thought that I owed quadrillions,” said the down-to-earth Reynolds, according to Philly.com. "It was quite a big surprise." Double-checking his account, he discovered he neither owed that amount nor had it coming to him: His balance was zero.

Still, Reynolds said, the imaginary epic windfall left him feeling charitable. After opening the email, he donated $30 to the Democratic slate for Delaware County Council.
"I was moved to be really generous by good fortune," said the father of three.
If the prodigious account credit were true, Reynolds — who with his wife owns Reynolds Ink, a public-relations firm — said he'd pay down debts with the money.
"I'm a very responsible guy," he said. "I would pay the national debt down first. Then I would buy the Phillies, if I could get a great price."

Again, an astoundingly practical man.

Most of us would agree that PayPal shouldn't get off the hook so easily. How often has a financial company refused to acknowledge an incorrect or bogus charge and insisted a customer pay it off? If anyone should benefit from a digital accounting error, it's this guy.

At the very least, we'd love to see what souped-up vintage car he'd drive onto the field at Citizens Bank Park.

Are you not thinking that PayPal should credit your account and forget it...  Cheer Up and Post your comments

Google Play Store's New Look

Google recently rolled out a new design for the mobile version of its Google Play Store, and now the web version of the store has had a new Design.
The new design of the web version of the Google Play Store, is Designed to look cleaner and simpler, with enlarged screenshots, and now All the information is on a single page instead of tabbed pages.

Welcome Page-

As with everything new at Google these days, the Play Store also gets a lot of cards and once again the design is much cleaner than the last iteration. Navigation buttons are hidden now and the Play Store is Noticeably faster thanks for this update. Android Police says Google has been using AJAX (asynchronous JavaScript and XML) to make page loads faster, so the Play Store doesn't have to completely reload each time a link is clicked.

The landing page has the editor's picks, recommendations, top charts and new releases. The categories are neatly stacked on the left, and when one is clicked, the others hide away, only to show up when you mouse-over. The My Apps page is now a long scrolling list of all your apps, which we reckon will slow up loading times if you have a ton of apps on your various devices. However, overall, the UI is a lot simpler.

Main Page in Full View-

App listings have also got a change and the app icon is larger and more Front-and-center. This was also one of the changes seen in the mobile app. Permissions no longer have a separate tab, but show up when you click on Install. When you do install apps, the new Play Store will show you the last time you used the app on your device. There are other changes too, like the way reviews are shown. You can no longer filter good or bad reviews, which probably isn’t a good thing if you are a The developer just browsing through lots of reviews.

Apps Page-

What do you think? Does the new Play Store make it easier for you to find apps or do you still prefer the older version? Post your views below
